Up until now the book has been pretty decisively down on life with folly, foolishness and all the stress and anxiety that comes out of it. This particular chapter presents a shift by raising a question, what do we do now that life is foolishness?

As we move into this section Solomon moves from a discussion that wisdom is better than folly and foolishness to a collection of short proverbs that build on this whole theme.
